Featuring * Black Crossbody ~ Marc Jacobs (Farfetch) and Gold Bangles ~ Chloé (Farfetch)

Dear Reader,

I realized some while ago that everything’s been feeling pretty static between work and school and midterms, so yesterday I decided to break from my routine and visit the Guggenheim which I’ve been meaning to do for a couple months now. I had a meeting on the Upper East Side at the cutest little café called The Bluestone Collective (about some very exciting things coming up for this blog stay tuned) which is conveniently just down the street from the museum. I seriously had the loveliest afternoon just strolling through the galleries. There’s this new exhibit which combines photography and poetry which I loved so so much I think the guards were getting angry at me for taking so many photos.

Anyways, I’d just like to remind you of how important it is to get out of your routine every once in a while when things start to feel tedious. And on another note, I have recently discovered Farfetch, an online boutique which consolidates and sells all sorts of designer clothing/accessories (Chloé, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Valentino and so so many more) that I’m absolutely in love with (^^bangles and bag featured above) and recommend checking out if you’d rather do some retail therapy as a way of breaking up monotonous days.

Take a look at my instagram for more of the above photos ^

  1. Your aesthetic is unparalleled, and you are quickly becoming a source of inspiration. As valuable as it is drawing lessons from the famous and the great artists of the past, it is life giving to find genius in your peers, in fellow nineteen year old girls who are far more talented than myself.

    Keep writing xoxo

  2. The book…. South of the border west of the Sun ❤ There was this moment as I scrolled down your photographs where I enjoyed knowing something before it was told. I wish you hadn't mentioned the name in the end. For me it was a secret. Like I knew something about this piece that no one else did. Without a doubt it's a beautiful series of photographs. But you must allow them to tell their story too. Pick and choose pictures that speak a wide array of things in one single frame. I know it's a diary of sorts so it's not a necessity. In fact if you find it necessary to keep it do so. For example, I really loved the photograph where your finger is placed against the book on a table that has patches of red on the edges. I thought it spoke a lot about how you felt that day. I might be wrong but I find that very ability of a photograph to have multiple reflections fascinating.

PS: I love Bon Iver too!
    Keep this up!
